The Kin Agu pork served at our restaurant has undergone DNA testing by the Okinawa Prefectural Livestock Improvement Association, a public interest incorporated association, and has been certified as a native Ryukyu pig, the Agu.Purebred Agu pigs born from certified male and female Agu pigs are treated as "Gold Agu".*Currently, the provisional certificate for the Ryukyu native pig "Agu" issued by the Okinawa Prefectural Livestock Improvement Association is the official certificate for whether the Agu is the only breed in Okinawa Prefecture.
